What a phenomenal video, in a matter of a few minutes this director was able to convey so much. To me this is a statement of societies constant desire for beauty, excess, and our perpetual discontentment of self. The television, which is so apropos, represents the influences that are pushing us into this patterns of destruction and its movements a representation of how its images are and will always be just out of reach.

what i got out of this video was, she was seeing a reflection of what she wants to be, so she tries to look like what she sees in her reflection. (if that made any sense, haha)

@llamaspit3838 The message I had gotten out of this video was that people of society are sheep and will follow anything that is taught to them because that is just how society is. And racism is in the category of being a sheep since the person refuses to break the chain of what is taught to them.Heh, that's just how I saw it at least. xD |
